Dan Brown 
Vicar

Dan has been the vicar at Wadsley since November 2015. He is married to Sarah and they have three children: Esme, Noah and Aidan. Dan loves seeing God break into people's lives and seeing them become all that they can be. His main priorities in the church are raising up leaders and asking people to dream big. When he's not working, Dan will probably be found spending time with his family. He is a big Sheffield United fan, and strongly believes that if a joke is worth telling once, it's worth telling until somebody begs him to stop.

Jordan Betts 
Curate

 
Jordan joined the team at Wadsley in June 2021. He is married to Eleanor, and they have a baby son called Noah. He is Originally from Walsall and in true Black Country style Jordan loves a curry and can often be found in the kitchen spicing up the latest recipe he has found. Jordan is passionate about seeing people encounter the presence of God and grow in their identity as children of our wonderful Father, he is eager to see people released into their God-given destinies who with Jesus change the world.  Jordan loves music and can regularly be found singing behind a guitar. You can often hear Jordan singing long before you see him.

Pete Gaunt

Trainee Ordinand 

Pete is training as an Anglican Vicar as St Hild College in Crookes, and is an ordinand on placement at Wadsley Church. Peter and his wife Katy both came to University in Sheffield in 2007, live in Crookes and are excited to both be joining Wadsley Church. Pete has previously worked as the Student Leader at St Thomas Philadelphia and Associate Minster at Woven Church in Nottingham. Pete is passionate about discipleship, helping people encounter God presence and is excited to get stuck in and being apart of the community. He loves sports, good food and a long walk in the Peaks.

Allison Wilkinson 

Youth Worker 

Allison joined our team in September 2021 and is from a small town just outside of Nashville, Tennessee. She love's apple pie, fries to dip in her vanilla milkshakes, chicken pot pie (pretty much all pies I guess!), hanging out at the lake, board games, dancing, reading!!! crafts and baking. She is a counsellor by trade and loves hearing people’s stories! So much that she has recently started a podcast called Come & See where she gets to listen and share folks stories of life with Jesus! 

Emma Fenn

SALT.ed Team Leader 

Emma joined the staff team at Wadsley in September 2018, having been on the church leadership team and leading a small group with her husband, Joe, over the previous three years. They have two little girls - Amelie and Poppy. Emma is a qualified English teacher who is passionate about seeing people flourish in all areas of their lives and self-worth, regardless of circumstance. Outside of work, Emma enjoys food, wine and board games with friends (though she rarely wins!), or relaxing in the bath after a long run, with a good book. 

Emily Kittle 
Children's Worker 

Emily joined our staff team at Wadsley in September 2021. She is married to Mark and has one little girl called Hazel. They have moved back to Sheffield (where they grew up) after living and working at a Christian Outdoor centre in Scotland for the last 7 years. Emily loves cycling and knitting (both quite slowly) and baking and eating cake (less slowly!) she is passionate about helping kids learn who God is and who they are and she is really excited to be part of the team at Wadsley!

Steve Hipwell 

New Wine Discipleship lead 

Steve joined the team here at Wadsley in September 2018, marrying his wife, Anna, around the same time. Steve is passionate about youth work, and seeing young adults grow in their relationships with God. Steve is a great cook with expensive taste - he can often be found perusing the wide aisles of a certain posh supermarket beginning with W, or buying sourdough from an artisan bakery.

Rebekah Ridge

Church administrator / Church hall manager

Bex has been on team since 2016. She is married to Nic, and has one little boy called Tiffin. Bex is passionate about bringing the community together. She runs the Wadsley Festival, which takes place in the summer, amongst other community events. In her spare time, she loves to host kids' parties, and visiting the newest and kookiest art galleries around.

Martin Ludbrook 

Book keeper

Martin has been on team since 2018. Martin studied Maths at university and has been a teacher, administrator, youth worker and bursar before taking up his current role. He likes films and good coffee and can usually be found heading in the direction of any cake on the refreshment table.
