Dan has been the vicar at Wadsley since November 2015. He is married to Sarah and they have three children: Esme, Noah and Aidan. Dan loves seeing God break into people's lives and seeing them become all that they can be. His main priorities in the church are raising up leaders and asking people to dream big. When he's not working, Dan will probably be found spending time with his family. He is a big Sheffield United fan, and strongly believes that if a joke is worth telling once, it's worth telling until somebody begs him to stop.

Bex has been on team since 2016. She is married to Nic, and has one little boy called Tiffin. Bex is passionate about bringing the community together. She runs the Wadsley Festival, which takes place in the summer, amongst other community events. In her spare time, she loves to host kids' parties, and visiting the newest and kookiest art galleries around.

Administrator | Church Hall Manager

Sean has been part of the team here since November 2016, as part of a partnership with the Centenary Project. He is also our token Geordie, but his condition continues to improve. Sean is passionate about seeing young people realise their potential, and stepping into all that God has for them. It is all about seeing young people smashing through any ceilings that society has put in place for them. In his spare time, Sean can be found practising his elocution, or supporting his nearby hometown club - Manchester United (like every good Geordie). For the first 11 years of his life, Sean believed that Jurassic Park was based on a true story.

Youth Worker

Emma joined the staff team at Wadsley in September 2018, having been on the church leadership team and leading a small group with her husband, Joe, over the previous three years. They have two little girls - Amelie and Poppy. Emma is a qualified English teacher who is passionate about seeing people flourish in all areas of their lives and self-worth, regardless of circumstance. Outside of work, Emma enjoys food, wine and board games with friends (though she rarely wins!), or relaxing in the bath after a long run, with a good book.

SALT.ed Team Leader

Sandra is a Wadsley Church stalwart, along with her husband Roy, and is known throughout our community. She is a Church Army Evangelist, who longs to see as many people as possible come into relationship with God. She is passionate about kids, and seeing them grow in our church family (as well as giving them lots of biscuits!).

Community Minister

Steve joined the team here at Wadsley in September 2018, marrying his wife, Anna, around the same time. Steve is passionate about youth work, and seeing young adults grow in their relationships with God. Steve is a great cook with expensive taste - he can often be found perusing the wide aisles of a certain posh supermarket beginning with W, or buying sourdough from an artisan bakery.

New Wine Discipleship Year Lead

David was the Vicar at Wadsley in the 90s, before a stay in New Zealand. He decided that the industrial beauty of Sheffield Steel was just too attractive, and retired here. He is really wise... He is passionate about teaching the Word, and seeing it put into action. He is a massive Sheffield Wednesday fan, often being found arm in arm with Tango in the stands.
