At Wadsley, we believe that we're called to give ourselves to God and to put Him first in everything; this includes giving financially, which we think is an important part of our relationship with Him.

"Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work."

How much should I give?

​That's everyone's question! But it really is between you and God, 10% is a figure referenced in the the Bible but some people will give lots more than this, and some lots less.

Where does my money go?

​The money goes to the life and ministry of Wadsley Church; some is spent on the ministries; some on the buildings; and a portion of it is given to the Diocese of Sheffield and to other charities. 

​

The PCC will publish a report every year detailing how much money is spent. The most recent one can be found here.
