Christmas at Wadsley
We've got loads going on at Wadsley over Christmas as we look forwards to the birth of Jesus. From opportunities to celebrate his birth to more reflective services, we hope there's something for everyone.
Join us for a Christingle Service at 1pm, 3pm or 5pm. Each service will begin with a short outdoor nativity before we gather in the church building to make Christingles and find out what all the different parts symbolise.

The craft fair will run from 12:30pm and there will be lots of lovely local makers showcasing their work - perfect for Christmas presents! There will be a few food vendors and a bar with beer and mulled wine. Free Tea and Coffee will also be available in the church hall.
Whilst everybody is welcome to all the events that we will hold over Christmas we realise that for some people a service with fewer people, a quieter atmosphere and a bit more space might feel more comfortable. We don't expect everyone to BE quiet at this service it will be less busy than the Christingles on the 8th December.
We will have more sensory elements to the service and more space for people to join with with the parts they would like to, or to explore Christingles and the Christmas story in other ways while the service takes place. There is no need to book, but if you are planning to attend, or even if you think you may but aren't quite sure, it would be really helpful if you could email emilykittle@wadsleychurch.com so that we have an idea of who to expect.
Join us for a Christmas sing along in some our local pubs throughout December!
Our epic outdoor carol service is set to be absolutely brilliant. We'll start around 6pm after the Tractors have been past! There will be lots of carols and an opportunity to hear what the Bible has to say about Christmas.
This year we're also having a reflective Christmas service for those who need a quieter space or find all the hustle and bustle that comes with Christmas difficult.
Come along to Carols by Candelight for a more traditional Christmas service. Church will look absolutely stunning bathed in candlelight. We'll be lead by our wonderful choir in traditional carols and hear Bible readings that tell the story of Christmas.
If you're looking for something to do with the kids on Christmas Eve why not come along to cartoons and carols. We'll watch some Christmassy cartoons, hear the Christmas story and sing a few carols.
Come and see in Christmas day at our traditional Midnight Mass service.
We'll gather on Christmas Day at 10am to celebrate the birth of Jesus! Everyone is welcome to join us.

PLease note this is our only service on Christmas Day!
